"I like to think about the life of wine, how it's a living thing...I love how wine continues to evolve, how every time I open a bottle it's going to taste different than if I had opened it any other day."

Five Rivers 2004 Pinot Noir

Date Tasted - February 12, 2007
Vintage - 2004
Winery - Five Rivers Winery
Varietal - Pinot Noir
Country/Region - Santa Barbara, California
Thoughts - this is ok. not too bad. I probably won't buy it again
Website -"Simply put, this is one great Pinot. The nose will find this classic Pinot Noir brimming with rhubarb, violets and cardamom with hibiscus flowers and a note of vanilla from the easy oak treatment. The palate will rejoice with the taste of wild strawberries followed by tangy bright cherries, hibiscus nectar and a strong acid backbone. It's spicy, structured and complex. Which wine fills The Goddess with joy and jubilation? We know. Pinot."
